Hello and welcome to my website,

First of all, let me introduce myself, I’m Anna-Leigh Brooks, Author of the The Older Woman. In case some of you aren’t aware, this is the first in a trilogy of novels I wrote during lockdown (2020) and the first novel I’ve ever published.

As you can imagine I’m both excited and nervous, well when I say excited, that’s an understatement, I’m super-excited, to the point it feels surreal that my first novel is going on sale and people are going to buy it, read it and fall in love with it, as much as I was writing it.

I’ve always loved reading right from an early age, if you were to ask my mum, she’d tell you that when I was younger and playing ‘schools’ with my friends, I would make them all sit down and listen whilst I read them a story! It’s a wonder I had any friends

I still find it hard to believe that something as wonderful as this can come from a chance conversation, (especially as I only started writing short stories back in 2014 but never did anything with them) however, I soon came to realise I have a creative mind for the erotic romance genre.

So fast forward 7 years and here we are, publishing my very first novel and what an experience this has been! If some one had told me about the trials and tribulations of self-publishing, I honestly think I wouldn’t have done it, there have literally been so many tears of frustration you wouldn’t believe it, but we’re here now and that’s all that matters.

So for now, I’m going to sign off, but before I do I just want to say thank you and I truly hope you enjoy reading about Jamie and Jess and if like me you have a favorite character don’t forget to let me know.

OMG this book is what I would call Naughtiness in abundance!! That naughty I would read it again just incase I missed something. If you want too keep your ladies really happy & yourself Gent’s I suggest you give it a read, trust me you won’t be disappointed ( tired maybe ) but not disappointed…! Roll on the next book.

What can i say read this book over 24 hours it was amazing i got to last page and was like noooooo it cant end like this im hoping the next book is out soon and that it picks up where this one left off. Def not a book that will disappoint will have yiu hookes from the start!!!

Oh wow straight into this book if you like steam and spice it happens fast. The whole story had me hooked. Didn’t want it to end. Got to end saying no no no you can’t leave it there. Not the sort of book I’d normally read but totally hooked. Love it

This book is a must for anyone who enjoys a bit of steamy passion in their lives. Right from the start, the characters get naughty and the thrills keep on coming. Looking forward to the next book

Well what can I say about this book other than 'wow, wow, wow' it was recommended to me from a friend who recently bought it and I have to say I'm so pleased I read it. I was a bit sceptical at first when she told e about it but once I started to read the first chapter I knew I'd love it. My only disappointment was it ended, I literally wanted it to carry on. well done to the author, when will the next one be out? I really hope it isn't too long a wait?

This book is such an amazing read... I was hooked only after a couple chapters. The story line is so compelling you just honestly can’t put the book down! and the double narrative works really well and makes the book just that bit more interesting and fun to read. Roll on book 2!

Well after just 2 chapters I. AM. HOOKED!! The older woman doesn't waste anytime getting to the juicy details. Well written and a total page-turner. Waiting to see what Jess and Jamie get up to. Fabulous first book by Anna-Leigh, can't wait for the next book!!
